An e-BODE can be positioned to make the very most of a site. The orientation to the sun, the approach from the street, views to the surroundings and the relationship to other buildings are all considered when siting the modules.

The inherent flexibility of the modular system allows views and sunlight to be controlled. Place a glazed panel to create a sunny dining area, and a solid panel to hide a neighbour's gable wall.

The site is respected in other ways. An e-BODE is prefabricated so disruption is minimal. The only site works required are simple pad foundations and utility connections. Solar panels and grey water treatment can be incorporated for off-grid sites. And the e-BODE can be easily removed, leaving no trace of its existence in the landscape.
