MODABODE was established in 2004 to design a range of pre-fabricated housing products. A prototype of our first design, the e-BODE, was built for the Houses of the Future exhibition and displayed on the Opera House Forecourt in Oct 2004 before moving first to the Sydney Olympic Park and then to the Hunter Valley wine region. A two-module prefabricated e-BODE for an artist and his family on the NSW South Coast incorporating studio space and large decks.
The re-furbishment of a Art Deco apartment in Cremorne which included a new modern kitchen and extensive re-wiring.
The re-design of a large 70's house in Clontarf to create a better layout for the current occupants.
A new timber-clad family eco-house in Curl Curl that cascades down its steep rocky site to maximise passive solar performance while ‘touching the earth lightly’.
The re-styling of a 1970's Frenchs Forest home resulting in completely new floorplans and elevations.
Numerous proposals for holiday houses, extensions and tourist accommodation using the e-BODE modular system

MODABODE's flexible approach to the practice of architecture allows clients to pick and choose from a broad range of services to suit a particular project. MODABODE can:

undertake measured surveys
develop sketch-design schemes and feasibility studies
discuss proposals with planning officers
submit Development Approval and Construction Certificate applications
produce 3-D drawings and models of proposals to assist in the design process
liaise with other consultants where appropriate
assist with the tendering process
project manage building work on site
